The Brentwood Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1 Merion Road off Washington Avenue Chief Peterson arrived first on scene with smoke showing from an occupied residence and retoned a working fire. With multiple mutual aid departments requested, the fire was knocked down quickly. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the SCPD Arson Squad.
