The Deer Park Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 565 Acorn Street. Upon arrival, 1-4-30 advised of "something going on on the roof" and for 1-4-10 to set up. Upon investigation, firefighters discovered due to roof work, an area between the roof and firewall had caught and was smoldering. A fire marshal was requested to the scene for further investigation. No injures were reported.
