The Deer Park Fire Department responded to a reported Overturned vehicle with entrapment at the intersection of Carl's Path and Old Country Road. Upon arrival 1-4-98 confirmed there was a 2 vehicle motor vehicle accident with a subject trapped in an overturned pickup truck. Upon arrival, Chief 1-4-31 requested a retone for Heavy Rescue to the scene. Squad 1-4-6 and Heavy Rescue 1-4-14 took the roof of the auto to extricate the patient. The patient was extricated in approximately 8 Minutes (as per radio communications). The patient was then transported to a local hospital in non-life threatening condition. The drivers of the other vehicle involved refused medical attention as per witnesses on scene.
